Desde que surgiu há cerca de 350 mil anos, a espécie humana evoluiu, dominando de novas tecnologias e fazendo descobertas cientificas. Atualmente consegue adaptar-se a praticamente todos os climas.
A capacidade de adaptação permitiu também o crescimento populacional da espécie. As descobertas cientificas e transformações tecnológicas dos últimos 200 anos aceleraram exponencialmente esse crescimento. Estima-se que existam cerca de 7,9 biliões de pessoas no Mundo nos dias de hoje.
O crescimento populacional da espécie tem efeitos ambientais dramáticos e, se continuar ao ritmo actual, pode causar a extinção de metade de todas as outras espécies do planeta no próximo século.
Já existem também tecnologias que permitem evitar as previsões mais pessimistas. O Homem deve recorrer a esses meios, implementando-os de forma imediata, agressiva e em grande escala.
O Homem deve entrar num novo ciclo que permita a renovação e regeneração do Planeta de forma a garantir, em última instância, a sua própria existência.

The ability to adapt also allowed the population growth of the species. The scientific discoveries and technological transformations of the last 200 years have exponentially accelerated this growth. It is estimated that there are about 7.9 billion people in the world today.
The population’s growth has dramatic environmental effects and, if continued at the current rate, could cause half of all other species on the planet to go extinct within the next century.
However, there are also technologies that make it possible to avoid the most pessimistic forecasts. Man must resort to these, implementing them immediately, aggressively and on a large scale.
Man must enter a new cycle that allows the renewal and regeneration of the Planet in order to guarantee, ultimately, its own existence.
